OMG

WOW!!! it sure has been a while sense I have been on here. All kind of things have been happening both good and bad. I know god does not give you more the you can handle but one thing is for sure he knows where your limits are. I saw this and thought how true it is and at the same time I know how to relate it to my life. Thought I would share it with who ever is out their.
LETTING GO
To let go isn’t to forget, not think about, or ignore.
It doesn’t leave feelings of anger, jealousy, or regret.

To let go is to be thankful for the experiences that made you laugh,
Made you cry and made you grow.
It’s about all that you have, all that you had and all that you will soon again
Letting go is having courage to accept change, and the strength to keep moving.
Letting go is growing up
It is realizing that the heart can sometimes be the most potent remedy
To let go is to open a door, and to clear a path and set yourself free.

Basketball

Well my boys are playing now; the youngest was one year off of make age level. He wants to be out their so bad. My middle boy just loves it he thinks its the best thing seance slice cheese. My oldest boy he loves it to he has stolen the ball away more times then anyone else in his age group. He also is good at passing his aim does need some practice but for his first time i think they are doing great. My husbands youngest son is dominating the floor. he is really good but i think this is making him better. he only has one more year of grammar school left. I want him to be the best he can be he loves the game so much. It is fun to watch his younger brothers try to be like him. They try to talk basketball with him and it makes me smile when i hear him try to teach them the right terminology. My husband is working a lot after he gets done teaching he has football practice he gets home late through out the week. I have been keeping up with everything to do with the kids. That alone is non stop with school; homework; sports in this case it is basketball. Then all of the home stuff cleaning; cooking; outside work. At times it seems like their is just no time to do anything I want to do. It just comes with being a parent nothing else compares.

Decathlon

Our thirteen yr. old went to his decathlon meet did real well. We all attended the awards ceremony he ended up getting one third place medal, one second place medal, and three first place medal. his team was first place for teams and e made first place over out county in his grade level. Went he got up every time his name was called all you could hear was clank..clank..clank from his medals around his neck. That boy had the biggest smile you ever seen.

The truck

Well the truck broke down again. he had it fixed on the 8th of april and it broke down on the 14th. Less then a week later so yesterday the 15th my husband had to take the camper to work. This place he works at does not allow you to drive campers to work. It made it an interesting day for him. I got a phone call after work was over from him telling me the tire on the back was flat and the other was extremely low. He ended up going to his dads house to fix the tires. When it rains it pours. One thing after another seems to happen. So we have not had a chance to look under the hood to see what is wroung. We know it is something we wont like it died on the way home from work with no noise of any kind. I know what we will be doing this weekend.

Easter

Well it went great all things considered. My husband was not moving around very good but he was their for the baskets, egg hunt, and dinner. Although he did not really eat due to the surgery. The kids had a blast my middle boy the 6 yr. old found the most eggs. We went to the park down the road from us for an Easter egg hunt. They seemed to enjoy it more then the ones we have at home. The boy dyed 4 1/2 dozen eggs the night before we could not eat all of them. From hard boiled eggs, deviled eggs, potato salad..... anything to do with boiled eggs I made it. Boy am I glad that is over I think everyone it tiered of eggs lol. The boys loved their baskets filled with all kinds of candy, sidewalk chalk, and paddeles with the ball tied to it. It was a long but fun day everyone enjoyed it.

It has been a while

Well were to start..... Tings have been non stop around here. My husband had surgery he had his gallbladder out as well as his lump. Which was not cancer thank god. That was done on good friday so we spent the day at the hospital and the kids spent the day with grandpa. Everything went ok he has been sore for the last week but is doing great. My husband went to Arizona to a football coaching clinic this last weekend. He had a great time from the sound of everything. Just before good fri. the truck broke down he started working on it and finished in on the 7th of april. Which just happened to be my grannys b-day 87th. So while he spent the afternoon working on a truck I went with my three boys to my grannys. Where my aunt and uncle from L.A. were. My brother sister-in-law and their son came over. We all had a nice dinner and visit the cuz enjoyed playing together.

No News

Still no news about my husbands lump. I did not think it would take this long to hear about it. I know very thing happens in gods time. I am still only human and can not stand the wait. We did find out that he does need surgery again. He has gallstones and they want to remove his gallbladder. Gallstones are found in many people with gallbladder cancer. I was unaware of this until now. We have been so worried about the lump that goes from his chest down to the bottom of his rib cage. We don't know what that is, but now we know that this can lead to cancer. It is a lot to take in all at once. The news about this; no news about his lump; no news about my dads cancer; and my husbands new job he just got. We still have to function every day and go through life. The kids do not stop just cause we are waiting for news about someone or something. My lil guy woke up this morning with a fever. As you can imagine my four year old is cranky and tired from it. He has to be held and nothing seems to please him. He wants to watch a movie but can not have the sound on at all. I don't blame him light and sound bother me when I am sick why should it be any different for him. My nine year old brought his progress report home he has went up in all subjects, two have stayed the same. I am so proud of his achivement I know it is not easy to hold good grades all of the time. We got the school pictures in today when did they get so expensive? $12.00 a sheet and $45.00 for the pack of five sheets. When you have three kids in school that is a lot of money. I understand they need to make their money as well but that is a lot still. Their are about 20 kids in a class if each kid buys one sheet that is $240.00 per class. I know not every kid will buy one sheet some will have none others will hav all. So if you average it out their are 14 different classes $3360.00 is a lot of money for four hours of work.

Out of school for a week

The kids have been out of school two days going on their third. I have been lucky no real drama knock on wood. My husband has work he did not have the time off. It has been nice just to relax and not due to much. My two little one have homework every day even though they are off. They have handled it very well no arguing about doing it now that was a surprise. We still have not got a call about the biopsy. It is so hard to sit here and wait to see what the mass is that my husband has. They can not tell us if it is cancer or not with out it. As for my father we still have not heard about the test results to see if the cancer has come back or not. I saw my dad Mon. night and he looked good. My son (second to youngest) has got to go to the dentist he has a cavity. Other wise I think everyone is in good health.

Valentine's

It is almost 3 A.M. and I am still baking cookies for my husband when he wakes up. I go him a huge balloon with some small ones with it. Roses 12 yellow to show our friendship surrounding one red to show my love for him. I made some chocolate hearts and carmel/chocolate hearts to sit around the base of the flower vase. Last but not least I made him a cake to go with it. It will be the first thing he sees when he wakes up seance it is on the dresser next to the bed. All I can say is happy Valentines Day baby!!! I hope he likes it will have to wait to see. As for our five boys I made them their own cake.

The day before Valentine's our dinner

Well my husband came home early from a coaching clinic, that was a nice surprise. Today he took me out for dinner the food was good. A nice change from our anniversary dinner. It did not start off to good as we were being lead through the restaurant the bus boy. That is what I think his job is anyways. Had a rubber neck watching my butt as I walk by to our booth. Mind you the waitress was in front of my and my husband fallowing behind me. Needless to say my husband let the lady setting us know and the waitress came over and heard about it. The waitress came back to the table and said it was a misunderstanding. How can someone with a rubber neck fallowing your butt walk by a misunderstanding. Then she came back for a second time and told us that the owner knows and will take care of it. By now my appetite has just about gone from me when we see four different employees walk by four and five times that alone will make anyone uncomfortable. When their is only one other family sitting their. When we got our dinner and we finished my husband asked for the owners card the waitress came back with the owner instead of the card we then went through it all again and let him know that is not the way to run a business etc. In my opinion if he valued his place of business he should have came to address his customers when he found out not wait for the customer to ask for a card. I know now not to attend cool lukes. After dinner we did some shopping and came home. What a night to have but all of my boys had fun while we were gone that is a plus.


P.S.
My husband went to the doc. will have to go and have a biopsy done to see if it is cancer or not they are not sure yet and can not give an opinion. We do know their was white spots in the mass. Starting from the upper chest to the lower rib cage.

Valentine's Party at school

Well just got done with the valentine's party at school. Two boys with party's I attend and help with is a lot. The youngest boy got plenty of candy. My husband is on his way to a football clinic hope he has fun this weekend. He has another clinic coming up that he has to attend with his boss. My dad went in for some more test again and a colonoscopy will know the results in a few days. My husband has not been feeling well he had to go to the doctor to find out why his side is hurting and has a lump. All of my boys have a week off of school and my husband has to work the whole week. That's not to fun but it has to done. We will have to do something fun for them to get out of the house. Today is nice and sunny the first time in a while. I do love the sun so much.

A nice drive

Well I was taken out for a drive today put over 200 miles on the truck. It was nice to be out and about. I got to go out to eat for brunch very good food. We stopped by the store on the way home to fill some of our shopping list. I went into the kids school and talked with their teachers. Everyone is doing good still on track for this year. Dropped of some of the candy for their party next week; that will be here before I know it. Just got done being sick could hardly get out of bed for 5 days. That was no fun at all, hope I don't have to due that again anytime soon.

Birthday Party Today

Well it is the weekend and the birthday party is here. We got tri-tip, chile beans, potatos, bread, chips, dip, and Family. It will be a good afternoon party filled with fun. It is a nice day out with a littler bit of sun.

Jan. 27th

It has been a pretty typical day. Our 13 yr old had basketball practice today after school, my husband had football practice after school. He also had to stay late at work to get ready for some meetings he has tomorrow. We had some wood to be dropped off and the guy never showed yesterday or today. Rather cold outside don't need it to come into the house. Our oldest had detention he was late for one of his classes. The two small boys are doing good in school. All three of the grammar school boys grades went up for sem. 1. The smallest boy is doing good he knows his colors and numbers up to 5. Still am working on his ABC's no worries he starts kinder in eight months. He will do fine I am sure. As for me just about the same kind of day cleaning and cooking. Although today I did heat up chicken I made last night. It's not really left overs as we did not have it for dinner I just made it so I could get out of it tonight:). It is very quiet here right now my three little boys are asleep for the night; our 13 yr old is eating as he just got home a little bit ago; the oldest is in his room doing his own thing at 17 I don't expect much else; and last but not least is my husband who is still at work 8:52 pm. very dedicated. Well that's all for now.

Birthday

Well today is our sons 13th birthday. WOW; they grow way to fast. Sent everyone off this morning Husband to work four of the five boys to school. Our 13yr old has a away basketball game to day. Hope he does well it's his birthday they should let him play more(just a momma talking). Going to bake some cookies today and try to make some of his favorite food for dinner. We will have a party for him this weekend. Bar-B-Q friends and family around even some x box on the big screen. Both of our parents are doing good hope to see them this weekend.

Spending time with the family today. We all are gathered around the T V got our snacks out on the table just watchin the football games. Enjoying our Sun. afternoon/night with the kids. The Colts won the last game wait and see who wins this one.

Dinner was fun:) We went to a new restaurant to night the food was awful. We couldn't help but laugh about it. Making new memories is so much fun to due. My husbands food was over cooked. It could have passed for beef jerky lol. My food well ever see the commercial where the Bar-B-Q starts on fire that's where my food came from. We could not help but laugh about it.

Our Ten Year Anniversary Today

Well we made it Ten years all ready.WOW; where does the time go it feels like we just got married. We have over came so many obstacles that has been throne at us. No one can say that we are not meant to be. Thought we would keep it simple a dinner alone would be nice. As we have someone to watch the little boys that can not stay home. It is a big thing for us to be alone it has not happened in a long time.
